Of course at first you have to do everything from taking out the garbage to creating the overall strategy of the company -- but the goal is to be able to hire people to do the stuff they love (and the stuff you hate) like accounting . . . I think you've got to love what you do (and be good at it too!) I love what I do, and I love being in business. I admit I do have a point of view, which shows up in the post, but I'm not so sure. I think maybe some of us are lucky, and what we like to do works as a business, but even there, it's still a lot of work. I don't want to over-romanticize either. Aren’t you good at what you love to do, and don’t you love to do what you’re good at?" No offense, Mr. Berry, but I remember reading this same argument years ago in "What Color Is Your Parachute", and it didn't help me back then either. Unfortunately, I have not found this to be true in my own life. I happen to be good at many things, but I wouldn't say I necessarily love to do them.
