Business Idea: Kids and Crayons

by Tim Berry on December 17, 2007

Many business ideas start with something that ought to exist but doesn’t. Or something I want to buy. Thanks to Paul and Eva for this one.

From now on, when I go into a restaurant with a baby old enough to grab things but still too little to understand sitting still or drawing with crayons, I’d like the restaurant to give us crayons the kid can eat. Because that’s what she’s going to want to eat.

Better yet, put some nutrition into those crayons. Make them organic, too. Then the parents can have a better time with the baby during Sunday brunch and not worry as much about whether or not she’s eating, and the food value of what she’s eating.
