Why do so many people reach success and then fail?

by Chelle Parmele on September 18, 2009

With this question, Richard St. John begins his 4 minute TED Talk – “Success is a Continuous Journey

Richard talks about the success, failure and eventual bigger success of his business, the St. John Group. He has some very simple principles for success, principles that he’s worked more than a decade to prove.

Out of all of them, I think the most important one is this- When we stop trying to succeed, we fail.

Good Story, But not completely true.

Success comes in different forms to different people. Some people do nothing but know the right people, some buy success and some work like a dog.

Not everyone that does what’s on his list for success has success. If it worked for him, great.

It’s where i’m at…where do i go from here? Start over? I’ve been successful at what i do and have made my share of mistakes also including some failures too, but i’ve aways been able to re-start and go again.

Thanks for the insight…

In Winston Churchill’s opinion there is especially one thing which decides about success or failure: the courage to continue!
